I am a first generation Jamaican raised on the Southside of Chicago, Illinois. I moved out to California in 2004 and fell in love with the Sunshine State. Currently a student at University of California, Davis, I graduate June 2015 with a degree in Sociology Organizational Studies. I have two school age daughters. I love to interact with people, enjoy hiking in my spare time and trying new and fun things. I joined Zeta Sigma Chi because Zeta Sigma Chi was different. I love each and every thing that the organization represents. I loved that Zeta Sigma Chi celebrates the beauty of multiculturalism. “Success in Education,” is what I've been striving for my entire academic career and what I continue to instill in my daughters. I was thrilled to see the warmth, passion and determination these women had for both the organization and education. I am excited to be apart of such a wonderful organization that accepts all of me, continues to broaden my horizons and assist me in my growth as an individual.
