My name is Lorena Ramirez Gomez, and I am a proud sister of ZΣX. I grew up in a little town named Sunnyvale (bay areaaaaa!) here in California with my parents and 4 other siblings. My household was dominated by the Mexican culture my parents grew up with and decided to inculcate upon us. I absolutely love my Mexican heritage, but I have always been fascinated by the rest of the world and its cultures. I decided to enter the land of peach & black because I felt like something was missing from my college experience. I couldn't quite put my finger on it yet, but I knew there was something out there for me that would make college seem more worthwhile and wholesome. I never thought I was going to join a sorority, much less become a founder. I wasn't too sure about the whole thing at first but at the last informational, I listened to a sister speak about her experiences as a founder and a sister. There was so much love and genuine happiness emanating from her as she spoke, I was immediately sold. I wanted in. I love everything ZΣX stands for; I felt like I could relate to every single thing. It has made me a more open-minded and well rounded person, since I became a sister. I am so glad to have joined a sisterhood filled with successful, genuine, loving, *RADIANT* ladieZ.
